About The Event

Christ Lutheran Church is hosting a Community Day! The day will feature:

  • 5k run & 1k fun walk benefitting Sanctuary Village Philadelphia

  • food, fun, & games

  • face painting & balloon animals

  • music from Cool Confusion over the lunch hour

While you're here, visit our new walking path, pavilion, tiny house model, and Shepherd's Shelf Food Pantry. Creating a little community right next the the Turnpike!

Sanctuary Village is a 501c3 organization dedicated to providing a community of tiny houses to offer temporary shelter to people experiencing homelessness with community support and without the instability of the shelter system, so that individuals can transition into a sustainable long-term living situation.
